Who Is the Real Santa Claus?

At the Pointe-à-Callière museum December 3, 2016 — December 31, 2016, a guide will accompany young and old to meet Melchior, Babouchka, Pierre le noir and Santa Claus. These four Christmas characters tell you how we celebrate the holiday season in their home country.

Skating

The Quai ice rink will been open starting December 10th. It is the ideal place to come for family or for a romantic outing between Old Montreal and the St. Lawrence. The skating rink is open until 10 pm (until 6 January): the lights of the city give a magical appearance to this nocturnal outing. You can rent skates there. Musical themed evenings and evenings are also organized (Monday classical, Tuesday world music, etc.)

Do not forget to go and give a skate at the Beaver Lake on Mount Royal, especially since access to the ice rink is free.

Sliding and Cross-Country Skiing

Inner tube sliding in the corridors on the slope near Beaver Lake (depending on snow conditions). On Mont-Royal, you can also go cross-country skiing.
